Contotom allows you to transfer contacts (names and phone numbers) from your
Nokia mobile phone to your TomTom GO device in a case where you are unable to
use the "Get numbers from phone" function of the TomTom device.
Before making any changes to your TomTom device it's always
a good idea to take a backup with the TomTom HOME program.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Backup your Nokia mobile phone with the Nokia PC Suite.
2. Connect your TomTom device to your computer with the USB cable.
3. Select the source and the destination files with the 'Browse' buttons.
The source file is the nfc or nbu file (depending on the version of the Nokia PC Suite) created by the Nokia PC Suite.
The files are typically found in C:\Documents And Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Nokia\ContentCopier.
Application Data directory is a hidden directory. You can make it visible by selecting 'Show hidden files and folders'
from Tools -> View -> Folder Options in the explorer window menu.
The contacts.txt file should be created in the 'contacts' directory (Figure 1)
(or the root directory, Figure 2) of your TomTom device.
4. Push the START button.
